Dr. Mohammad Maftoun, Practice Owner
Dr. Maftoun , or Dr. M. As known by many of his patients , received his Doctoral Degree from the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania in 2014.
Dr. M. graduated with the clinical honor award due to his outstanding performance. Due to his dedication to dental education and patient care, he was appointed as an instructor at the dental school while performing his student duties.
Moving to Texas in 2014 after graduation, his passion for patient wellbeing and oral health optimization remains unwavering. In 2020, after practicing as a dentist for 6 years in Rockwall, TX, he opened his private dental practice, 3D Smiles Dental in Kaufman, TX. Committed to patient comfort, empowerment and using the latest technology, he invests enormous time in educating his patients and ensuring they feel at ease during their dental visits.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Maftoun finds joy in his role as a husband to Samiera, a partnership that has flourished since 2006. Together, they share the privilege of nurturing three wonderful children, Naseem , Nina and Elias. Dr. M’s multifaceted interests include soccer, travelling , gardening , fishing and outdoor adventures

Dr. Ash, Periodontist and Assistant: Maho, RDA
Dr. Ash (Sajjad Ashnagar) is a full-time traveling periodontist, practicing in Dallas-Fortworth metroplex, Texas. He teaches post-graduate periodontics at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry. He earned his Periodontology diploma from the University of Michigan and is specialized in treating gum disease, dental implants, and regenerative surgeries. He is licensed to perform I.V. moderate sedation and high-risk anesthesia. Dr. Ash studied general dentistry at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Six months after opening his private practice in Tehran, he immigrated to the US and interned at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) periodontics program. Soon after, he was accepted at the University of Michigan periodontology residency program to specialize in gum surgery. After graduation, he chose to live in Dallas, Texas, and establish his traveling practice, serving the entire DFW area. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed scientific dental journals and has been highly cited by dental researchers. He is a proud recipient of Dr. and Mrs. Steven Meraw periodontal scholarship, and a member of Dallas County Dental Society, Fort Worth District Dental Society, American Dental Association, and Michigan Periodontal Association.
